Success at the Design Prize Switzerland

On Friday, October 30, 2015 the Design Prize Switzerland was awarded in the city of Langenthal for the thirteenth time. From 42 nominations, the international jury awarded a total of 11 outstanding products and projects.

In the category of «Product - Investment Goods» a project of the Masterstudio alumnus Reto Schmid was awarded. Reto Schmid developed the precursor for «Joulia-inline», a heat recovery system for showers, during his studies at the Masterstudio Design in 2010.

In the category «Sustainable Impact Prize - Energy Efficient Lighting Technologies x Design» the OLED-Design Lab, which operated in the framework of the research project «Transformative Spaces and Objects», ranked among the nominees.

From the FHNW College of Art and Design FHNW five projects for the Design Prize Switzerland were nominated in total. All works are exhibited until to December 13, 2015 in Langenthal. For more information see:
